Product Description: Tramfloc® 1007 is the sodium salt of a polycarboxylic acid and is supplied as a mobile liquid, miscible with water in all proportions. The product is produced to a 39-41% activity level.
Uses: Tramfloc® 1007 Dispersant produces stable and fluid slurries with such matter as: kaolins, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, talc, alumina, barium sulfate and other extenders. Tramfloc® 1007 is the product of choice where residual sodium cations would prove detrimental. The most cost effective dosage of Tramfloc® 1007 can be determined by graphing the slurry's dispersion viscosity versus the level of Tramfloc® 1007 added. Constant conditions of temperature, pH and pigment concentration are essential for accurate dosage evaluation. The Tramfloc® 1007 dosage corresponding to the lowest slurry viscosity indicates the optimum dispersant level for that particular slurry whose solids' content is usually between 60-80%, wt./wt.
Advantages: Tramfloc® 1007's polyanions are strongly absorbed onto the surface of mineral particles producing a negative surface charge. This creates the particulate repulsion responsible for a stable dispersion. Temperature fluctuations of 100o C do not affect the efficiency of Tramfloc® 1007. It resists hydrolysis due to warm or alkaline conditions. Tramfloc® 1007 produces a more stable slurry than phosphates. Additional Tramfloc® 1007 is not usually needed for water hardness up to 360 ppm as CaCO3.
Feeding: Tramfloc® 1007 should be fed neat to the mixing water prior to the addition of pigments or minerals.
Packaging: Tramfloc® 1007 is available in 560 # drums and should be stored in a dry place not below 40o F.
Safety and Health: Spills of this product are extremely slippery. Precautions should be taken to prevent them from entering lakes or streams. Tramfloc® Cleaner 348 can be used to remove residue. The product can be flushed with copious amounts of water and disposed of according to local regulations.

Make-Down: It is recommended that the demusifier be fed neat to a point of good mixing in the treatment system.
Packaging: Tramfloc 755-759® series is available in 470# net weight drums, tote bins, and in bulk.
Handling and Storage: Mild steel components are suitable. Tramfloc 755-759® series should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sources of ignition.
Safety and Health:
Spills of polymer are extremely slippery. Precautions should be taken to prevent them from entering lakes or streams. Tramfloc® Polymer Cleaner 349 can be used to remove residue from equipment and floors. Polymer can be flushed with copious amounts of water and disposed of according to local regulations or treated with an absorbent material, then collected for subsequent legal disposal. Precaution should be taken to prevent inhalation, ingestion or contact with skin or eyes. Observing basic industrial hygiene precautions should prevent any health or safety hazards.
Product Description: The Tramfloc 760-779® series is several groups of formulations composed of ether sulfates, esters and polyols. Tramfloc 760-779® series is completely oil soluble. Tramfloc 760-779® series is used to break water in oil or inverse emulsions. Chemically this series is the reaction product of nonylphenol and ethylene oxide. The individual formulations within the series differ in the mole ratio of hydrophillic ethylene oxide and hydrophobic nonylphenol. Actives range from are 29-39%. Consult the MSDS for further details.
