Ink and Graphic Arts - Defoamers and Antifoams
Tramfloc® 1120IGA: 100% active silicone antifoams for control and wet-out during the pigment grind phase. Aids air release in non-aqueous, UV-curable inks. In this series, as the number increases, defoaming efficiency decreases and compatibility increases.
Tramfloc® 1121IGA: Highly stabilized silicone defoamer that provides the longevity and low dosage of silicone, but with maximum compatibility.
Tramfloc® 1122IGA: Silicone emulsion stabilized with organic additives to give good compatibility and foam control in aqueous systems. Effective at low dosage rates.
Tramfloc® 1123IGA: 100% organo-modified silicone defoamer formulated especially for water-based inks and coatings. Excellent compatibility in sensitive systems with excellent initial knock down and persistence. Can be used in the grind or let-down stage.
Tramfloc® 1124IGA: Low-VOC mineral oil-free defoamer. Will not swell the rubber rolls or plates used with aqueous flexo inks. May be added to the letdown or grind process.
Tramfloc® 1125IGA: Unique low-VOC non-silicone, mineral oil-free defoamer with excellent compatibility in inks and overprint varnishes. Recommended for coatings used on film and foil.
Tramfloc® 1126IGA: Excellent general-purpose defoamer for grind or letdown of aqueous inks. Recommended for overprint varnishes and water-based coatings requiring compatibility and maximum performance.
Tramfloc® 1127IGA: Excellent general-purpose, mineral oil-based defoamer for grind or letdown of aqueous inks. Has special leveling agents to ensure maximum compatibility.
Tramfloc® 1128IGA: Emulsifiable defoamer for aqueous ink systems that can tolerate trace amounts of oil in the formulation. Provides excellent long term stability. Strong defoamer with minimal effect on gloss.
Tramfloc® 1129IGA: Innovative third-generation synthetic defoamer that imparts low-VOC defoaming efficiency to pigment grinding applications. Also effective in water-based overprint varnishes.
Tramfloc® 1130IGA:100% active non-silicone synthetic antifoam that aids air release in non-aqueous, UV-curable inks. Excellent recoatibility.
