Dewatering belts for use in belt presses and double-wire presses or for use on
belt filters with or without the application of a vacuum, have been part of the
KUFFERATH program for decades.
New fabric styles are constantly being tested along with new seam constructions
- in each case dependent on the particular application and the design of the press
or filter.
The main areas of application for our TECHNOFLEX dewatering belts
* Removal of water from biological sludges and mixed sludges from municipal and
industrial wastewater treatment plants.
* Removal of water from fibrous material and fibrous sludges in the pulp and paper
industry.
* Making juices and concentrates from fruit and vegetables.
* Removal of water from sludges in mining, gravel and sand extraction.
Some of our fabrics are appropriate for universal use, while others have been
specifically developed for a special area of operation. This also applies to the
different seams that all our fabrics are equipped with - from the robust clipper
seams made from stainless steel or special corrosion-resistant alloys to snap-on
seams to fine, hardly visible woven seams. We have the requisite know-how, to
selectively target the advice we give you.
